Turkish Maarif Foundation is Türkiye's window to the world
in international education. Our Foundation has been established on June 17,
2016 with the Law No: 6721 adopted by the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye,
and is the only institution that has the authority to directly open an
educational institution abroad on behalf of the Republic of Türkiye, other than
the Ministry of National Education.
Turkish Maarif Foundation carries out active efforts at all
levels of education, from pre-school to
higher education, from formal education to non-formal
education.
Turkish Maarif Foundation, which aims to raise virtuous
people based on the Anatolian tradition of wisdom and the common heritage of
humanity, continues its educational activities in 6 continents as a pioneering
and reliable educational institution in its field. Our foundation not only
opens formal and non-formal education institutions, but also provides
educational materials such as scholarships, dormitories, and textbooks to
successful students
As of June 2022, the Turkish Maarif Foundation operates
428 schools across 49 countries, serving over 50,000 students. By October 2024,
this number had increased to 450 educational institutions in 5 countries. In
North Macedonia, the Maarif Foundation opened a new campus in Skopje in December 2018. These developments
underscore the Foundation's commitment to expanding its global educational
network.
